We were initially called to an emergency glass repair. There was a single toughened glass panel that had shattered above a busy road. The clients’ site is in central London.
We attended site in the evening, working from midnight to remove the dangerous, broken panel and install a temporary panel. We accessed internally from ropes and externally from a cherry picker.
We worked closely with Transport for London and Islington Borough on the project to ensure minimum disruption on this busy route and organised a road closure and traffic management to enable us to attend site and install the replacement glass. We used a truck-mounted cherry picker fitted with a crane attachment to fit the replacement glass. Again, rope technicians internally. Works carried out on a Saturday morning and successfully completed in a tight time-frame.
